What We Do
Six programmes that take menstrual health from the classroom to the statute book.
The Menstrual Health Society
Empowering girls and boys in schools with accurate, stigma-free menstrual health knowledge through the Menstrual Health Society.
The Menstrual Health Society (MHS) is a structured, school-based club initiative modelled after established institutions like the Press Club and Debate Club. It is designed to embed menstrual health education permanently within Nigerian schools — not as a one-off talk, but as a continuous, peer-led movement. The MHS is inclusive of both girls and boys. We believe that boys who understand menstruation become men who support women — and that informed peers are the most powerful educators of all. Members become ambassadors, carrying knowledge about menstrual health, hygiene, and dignity into their families and communities.
Partner on this programmeReusable Pad Production & Empowerment Hub
Training vulnerable girls to produce eco-friendly reusable sanitary pads, creating dignity and economic opportunity at once.
The Flow With Pride Reusable Pad Production & Empowerment Hub is one of our most transformative programmes. Designed as both a skills training facility and a production centre in Abuja, it addresses two crises at once: period poverty and female unemployment. Vulnerable girls — particularly those out of school or at risk — are enrolled into a structured programme where they are trained to produce eco-friendly, reusable sanitary pads. They receive stipends, mentorship, and support for continued education. The pads they produce are distributed free of charge to underserved rural communities and sold commercially to sustain the programme’s operations.

The event brings together adolescent girls, educators, government officials, NGOs, media, and development partners for a day of awareness, advocacy, and celebration. Our 2026 event, themed “Puberty. Enlightenment. Routines. Involvement. Dialogue.” (PERIOD), will be held on 23rd May 2026 at the National Centre for Women’s Development, Abuja, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Health and Federal Ministry of Women Affairs. Approximately 300 participants are expected.

Championing the Affordable Menstrual Hygiene Management Act to make sanitary products tax-free and freely available in public institutions.
Flow With Pride Impact Hub believes that sustainable change requires more than outreach — it requires legislation. We have drafted the Affordable Menstrual Hygiene Management Act, a proposed legislative framework currently being advanced in the Nigerian National Assembly with the support of House of Representatives members.
