Who we are

We are not just talking about period poverty. We are dismantling it.

A registered Nigerian NGO working in schools, communities, and the halls of government — because lasting change requires all three.

How it began

Our Story

A Flow With Pride session with students in Abuja

For years before Flow With Pride Impact Hub existed, our founders were already in the field — distributing sanitary pads to girls in schools and underserved communities, year after year. But every distribution left the same feeling: it was never enough. The problem was bigger than pads.

That conviction led to the production of the Flow With Pride Documentary — an investigative film that took our team into internally displaced persons camps in Adamawa State, rural villages across northern Nigeria, and urban communities in Lagos. For the first time, the reality of period poverty was captured on film: girls using rags, sand, and leaves; girls missing school monthly; girls who had never once been told that menstruation is natural.

The documentary was screened in Abuja before the Honourable Ministers of Health, Women Affairs, and Youth Development, and the FCT Mandate Secretary for Health. The response was immediate. The ministers issued a mandate to our organization to build structural, sustainable menstrual health intervention in Nigeria. Flow With Pride Impact Hub was officially launched.

Since then, we have grown from a documentary and a mandate into a full-spectrum NGO — running school programmes, training girls in reusable pad production, advocating in the National Assembly, developing technology, and building partnerships at the highest levels of Nigerian government and the international community.

We are not just talking about period poverty. We are dismantling it.

Our mission

To normalize menstruation, eliminate period poverty, and empower girls and young women through education, advocacy, community-driven programmes, and technology — building a world where no girl’s future is limited by her period.

Our vision

A Nigeria — and an Africa — where every girl and woman menstruates with dignity, access, and pride.
