Flow With Pride Documentary Acquired by GuideDoc, Joining a Global Catalogue of Award-Winning Documentaries
We are proud to announce that the Flow With Pride Documentary has been acquired by GuideDoc, the Barcelona-founded global streaming platform dedicated entirely to documentary film. The acquisition means our story, born from the realities of period poverty in Nigeria, will now reach audiences across the world through a platform built specifically for lovers of nonfiction storytelling.
GuideDoc has built its name as a curated home for documentary film, featuring work drawn from prestigious festivals around the world and offering filmmakers a platform designed with their craft, rather than mass entertainment, in mind. For a documentary like ours, born out of advocacy and lived experience rather than commercial ambition, this is exactly the kind of home it deserves.
The Flow With Pride Documentary follows the realities faced by women and girls across Nigeria as they navigate menstruation without access to adequate products, information, water, or sanitation. It was the film that, upon its screening in Abuja a year ago, moved government ministries to act and ultimately gave birth to Flow With Pride Impact Hub itself. What began as a single story has since grown into a movement, and now, through GuideDoc, that story will travel further than we ever imagined when we first picked up a camera.
This acquisition adds to the documentary's growing international footprint, having already been screened at community events and festivals across Nigeria and the United States. Each new audience the film reaches is, in many ways, a new advocate for the cause of menstrual dignity.
We remain grateful to everyone who believed in this story from its earliest days, the women who trusted us with their experiences, our partners, and our growing community of supporters. This is one more step in a much longer journey toward a world where no girl is held back by something as natural as her period.
The Flow With Pride Documentary is now available on GuideDoc.
This work needs support to continue.
